Jack Callil is an editor and writer living in Melbourne. He is currently Assistant Editor at Australian Book Review and proofreader of Meanjin. He is also a freelance copyeditor, proofreader, and podcast producer.
In 2017, his creative nonfiction piece 'When Everything Goes Shit For A Bit' was winner of the Lord Mayor's Creative Writing Award. His other writing spans journalism, reviews and creative work. He was an Express Media judge for the 2018 John Marsden & Hachette Australia Prize.
